- MAGA pastor Tony Saurez praises Trump for taking over DC because he says “it’s almost like a war zone there.” His evidence? He was jeered and booed by protesters after leaving a Trump speech at the White House in 2020 — (Ah yes, “War Zones“, infamous for all the jeering and booing … shudders, oh the horror).
- Indiana’s Christian Nationalist Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith says that if you teach evolution in school, “don’t be mad when kids commit suicide.” — (Yes, he really is this stupid)
- Pastor Jack Hibbs is asking right-wing Christians to fast and pray that “God [will] visit Gavin Newsom in his dream, in his sleep, and saves him.” — (If there really was an supernatural entity going around motivating people via dreams, it would be inspiring people in the Hibbs congregation to find a better church)
- Right-wing pastor/wealth manager David Reece says that Christian men have an obligation to build wealth and then use it to take public office and rule. — (Apparently Greed is now good and the guy who said something about camels and eyes of needles is to be ignored)
- Joshua Haymes declares that “only Native Americans should hold political office in America.” — (I’m not exactly convinced that he understands what the term “Native American” actually means)
- Doug Wilson (Sec Def Pete’s pastor who thinks women should not vote) says that he does not “believe that evangelicals who voted for [Kamala] Harris are demonic,” only that “they talked themselves into voting for demons.” — (Meanwhile, 80% of them who believe in the concept of an anti-christ, happily voted him into office and vigorously supported him when he turned up)
- Praising Trump for forcing the Smithsonian to change its exhibits to reflect his own agenda, Tim Barton says the Smithsonian “has taken a very biased perspective, only telling parts of certain parts of the story and leaving out details that maybe don’t help them promote the agenda that they’re promoting in that moment.” —- (Irony Alert: This is precisely how Barton and his fellow Christian-nationalist pseudo-historian colleagues at WallBuilders operate.)

Also, “prophet” (fraudster) Hank Kunneman claims this past week that he was playing with his trains when God appeared and told him that the Alaska summit between Trump and Putin will be a bridge to bring about global reformation: “There is a seed of God in [Putin] that is going to begin to come alive.“
- Wait what! … run that bit about “playing with his trains” past me again. One of the hobbies of this overgrown child is to burn “hard-earned” donations on building a rather large model railway setup, and it is something he has been doing for the past 40 years. If you see images of the setup you will realise how vast his toy train set is. If only his donors clicked and had a lightbulb moment of clarity, “Oh so that’s what my donations are funding“.
- The scary part is not his obsession with toy trains, nor his confession that he hallucinates are hears voices when playing with his trains, but the observation that people nod along to it all as if any of it was normal in any way, and so embrace his pronouncements as “truth”.
- Meanwhile, what Kunneman serves up are classic vague fuzzy Barnham statements that he can later leverage by claiming he “predicted” some vaguely related event. It’s all fake-prophet 101 stuff.

- It has been “Any day now” for the last two thousand years and so far Nada.
