I was having a discussion with a believer that started out with “Is there a God” and soon quickly evolved into, “Ah but how do you get a Universe from nothing?”. Now, since I’m not a Theoretical Physicist, I’m not the best person to ask about that, so who is? Well how about asking the Professor of Physics, Foundation Professor of the School of Earth and Space Exploration and Director of the Origins Project at the Arizona State University, Lawrence Krauss.
Here is a Video of a talk he gave at AAI in Oct 2009 where he explains our current picture of the universe, how it will end, and how it could have come from nothing … OK, its slightly over a year old, so perhaps some thinking has moved on since then … but its still truly fascinating …. enjoy.
